Cycle 4 of the workshop series asks individual faculty to note and reflect on their teaching methods, including the ways they transfer knowledge (lectures, hands-on learning, reading, etc.) and they ways they test knowledge (types of assignments, exams, etc.).  

The purpose of this cycle is not to indicate that Rice faculty should be using the same methods.  Quite the contrary, this cycle is intended to simply survey the academic units to see what areas of excellence and innovation are quietly taking place.
